  1. I have heard that not all electrical and electronic products are subject to the        Ministerial   Regulation, how can I determine what are the products are covered by the Ministerial Regulation ?
    Yes, there are not all electrical and electronic products are subject to the Ministerial Regulation.   All products are covered by the Ministerial Regulation are listed in our list ( Click here )
  2. Are all products listed in the list subject to apply for the license to use the Mark?
    Yes.
  3. Which mark should I use ?
    There are two ISC Marks, one is a product standards mark indicated that the product conforms to product standards and other one is product safety mark indicated that the product conforms to the safety requirements. To see the marks ( Click here )
  4. Who can be the applicant for Cambodian Safety Mark ?
    The applicant shall be the manufacturer. If manufacturers are outside the Kingdom of Cambodia, they can also apply for Cambodian safety mark but they shall nominate a local representative or agency located in Kingdom of Cambodia to be responsible for the products  bearing Cambodian Safety Mark.
  5. How can I apply for ISC license to use the Cambodian safety mark ?
    The applicant:
    - has to fill in the application form and attached with documents stated in the Application Form (click here)
    - has to sign an Agreement for the Grant of ISC License (click here)
    - has to write a nomination letter to nominate a Local representative or agency (click here)
  6. Do you accept the CB test report and CB test certificate ?
    Regarding  the CB test report and certification, Cambodia accepts a certificate and test report issued by a body that is a member of IECEE CB scheme
  7. If I have the CB test report and certification from a member of IECEE CB scheme, Do I need to submit the sample with the application form for getting  ISC License.
    No, but you need to submit the Color photographs showing exterior (whole, front, top and rear view of controlled goods, nameplate, rating label, main plugs etc.) and interior (critical safety components) views
  8. I have heard that your scheme needs also the factory inspection report, do you to send your inspector to inspect my factory outside Kingdom of Cambodia ?
    Yes, if we need, but Cambodia accepts a factory inspection report from an inspection body conforming to ISO/IEC 17020 and accredited by an Body conforming to ISO/IEC 17011. If the factory has got a certificate of  ISO 9001:2000 from a Certification body accredited by a Accreditation Body that is member of IAF MLA signatories (International Accreditation Forum (IAF) Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) Signatories  ) , the factory inspection will be exempted.
  9. Can I paste the ISC Safety mark label on the box of the product only?
    ISC safety mark shall be affixed on the regulated electrical and electronic products itself with legible manner. Where the physical size of the product does not permit this or when the application is not appropriate for the type of the product, the Mark shall be affixed on the smallest package
