National Standards Council (NSC)
National Standards Council (NSC) is consisted of:
    1- Representative of Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy Chair
    2- Director General of ISC Co-Chair
    3- Representative of Ministry of Commerce Co-Chair
    4- Representative of Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Fishery Co-Chair
    5- Representative of Ministry of Health Co-Chair
    6- Representative of Ministry of Environment Member
    7- Representative of Ministry of Public Work and Transportation Member
    8- Representative of Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction Member
    9- Representative of Ministry of Economic and Finance Member
    10- Representative of Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts Member
    11- Representative of Ministry of Works and Vocational Training Member
    12- Representative of Ministry of Tourism Member
    13- Representative of Institute of Technology of Cambodia Member
    14- Representative of Royal Academy of Cambodia Member
    15- Representative of Royal Phnom Penh University Member
    16- Representative of University of Health Science Member
    17- Representative of Royal University of Agriculture Member
    18- Representative of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce Member
    19- Representative of Producer Association Member
    20- Representative of Consumer Association Member
       
The Council will be responsible for
 
   

1- Overseeing and coordinating the standards development within the scope as endorsed by the Minister in charge of standardization and quality assurances.

2- Advising the ISC Management Board the criteria and procedures related to the preparation, approval, acceptance and selection of the standards.

3- Considering and approving proposals for Cambodian Standards prepared and recommended by ISC Management Board to develop, adopt, review, revise and cancel as Cambodian Standards.

4- Considering and approving the submission of financial proposals for standards development to the Government.

5- Establishing Technical Committees for the purposes of development of Cambodian Standards.

6- Considering and approving recommended priorities of national standardization work programme submitted by ISC Management Board within its annual programme for standards development.

7- Advising the Minister on matters related to standardization, policy, programs, planning, projects within its scope.

8- Advising and recommending the Minister to approve the drafted Cambodian Standards as Cambodian Standard.

9- Advising and recommending the Minister to approve programmes, plans, projects and other activities related to the promotion of standards development and consumer protection.

10- Overseeing and coordinating Cambodian's participation in regional and international standardization activities within its scope.

11- Selecting and appointing the secretary of the National Standards Council.
